motoringbadges.com

****The title of this post should be motoringbadges.com and not outmotoring.com (see post #10)****

i ordered some badges from motoringbadges.com on 8.23.07 and they still haven't billed me for them or shipped them. i was just wondering how long does it take them to ship them out. right now i'm not happy with the service from them i sent them an e mail last week asking them if it's been shipped and they told me it was going to be shipped out friday. i still haven't recieved a shipping notice and i still haven't been billed for them.

thanks

wasn't sure where to put this, so mods please move this to the right spot if it's in the wrong place. thanks

****The title of this post should be motoringbadges.com (see post #10)****

Very unusual for Aaron and Outmotoring. I suggest that you call and talk to Aaron. His reputation is outstanding!

Yeah, it does sound odd. I have never had a problem ordering from them, my stuff gets here in about a week and I've been very happy with everything I've ordered from him.

calls seem to work better

As strange as it seems, it usually works best if you call vendors (not just Outmotoring). I suppose their inboxes are filled with random emails and it takes longer to sift through to the "legit" emails.

Aaron has been great to deal with. There was a mix up with an order my wife made and he immediately took care of it. I am sure if there is an issue, he'll take care of it.

Try calling him again, I'm sure it will work out okay.

well i have to apologize to outmotoring.com for this post i just realize that it is motoringbadges.com and NOT outmotoring.com. i even sent outmotoring an email asking about my order and then i just sent another e-mail telling them i'm sorry about my e-mail i sent to the wrong e-mail address. i have ordered from outmotoring.com and they shipped it out the next business day.

so now the right question how long does it usely take motoringbadges.com to send out orders?

At least you didn't start to really get into them

From what I have heard/had dealings with, it is taking Todd longer because of the popularity of the badges. I believe we got our in about 2.5 weeks. I have not heard of anyone NOT receiving their badges though. Good luck

You went and rushed Todd and look what he did to his thumb with a cutter. You should feel ashamed.

I just had my first interaction with outmotoring.com today and it was great. I ordered a couple of things which were shipped and arrived within just a few days. When I realized that one part that I ordered wasnt going to work on my car, I sent them an email. Within one day they responded and said "no problem" just send it back. Yay.. I just love it when vendors are easy to deal with.

2.5-3 weeks sounds about right--I placed an order in March and that's about how long it took.

Just another grill badge fan here to say, being an avid listener of whiteroofradio (co-hosted by Todd), I know a couple things some non-listening folks might not:
  • Todd, while 1/2 of "motoringbadges.com", is a one-man shop on the production end (aka toddsmods.com)
  • Todd makes each badge by hand (yeah, shocked me too!)
  • Todd just moved into a new house about three weeks ago
And of course what JustJAY said, I don't know anyone who hasn't received their order from motoringbadges.com. Look on the bright side- forget about em. Then by the time they arrive, it will be like a present!

I'm a little confused. I'm assuming that your order was made through motoringbadges.com, but you've stated that you haven't been billed.

All of my transactions with Motoringbadges has been done through paypal, which bills my account immediately. My concern is that if you haven't been 'billed', that maybe something went wrong with your transaction.

I hope you get your issues with MB resolved. They're a good vendor with a great product. Although it hasn't happened to me (at least to where I noticed), I have heard stories of slight delays. However, it's well worth the wait.

if it helps any, I've got a couple grill badges I ordered and never use (and prob. never will). If interested I'd be willing to part with them for a nominal fee!

well i'm giving up on ever receiving my order from motoringbadges.com. i sent them at least 4 emails this past week with no reply. i won't be placing another order with them. ordered on 8.27 and have not been billed, no shipping notice and they stopped responding to emails. maybe i can find another website to buy these badges from.
