Major issues with Coopersport.com
was told "I have the blue filter in my hand and will send it to you directly from Coopersport today"
...in emailing this week, Aug 13th, was told that "the filter is being sent from MM!!" Uopn receiving this email, I responded with an incredulous HUH? I thought LAST WEEK you were sending it from your office!!!??? What gives?! and was told that it was cheeper sending from MM. Still NO TRACKING NUMBER...So Today Jay had to call MM and get the number himself and found out that NO, it wasn't sent last week...it was SENT YESTERDAY!!!

Yeah, I agree with you that *this* situation is pretty screwy. If they told you they had the part in hand and were going to ship it, they should have hung up the phone, wrapped the part and stuck it in the mail - and, frankly, eaten the postage by this point. Even if it could be shipped cheaper directly from MM, they shouldn't have gotten them involved again - that's just asking for more delays. They should have shipped you the exact part that they had in hand and that they said they'd ship.
I think I'd avoid U.S.-to-Canada-to-U.S. transactions in the future. :impatient Sounds like a recipe for shipping trouble.
I guess I didn't explain the situation clearly, so I am glad the wifey could put in more info.
Let me make something clear..... CS definately communicated with us once we contacted them looking for the items. Since a new person/persons obtained CS in July, they are probably still trying to figure everything out. I am willing to give them another chance, just not anytime soon.
Also, in the original order, we ordered an exterior light kit, that showed up without any problems. This is our second light kit from them, one from the old owners and one from the new owners, and both got to us without issues or problems. I hope that they use this situation as a lesson to perhaps change some things so that stuff like this doesn't happen again.
