MINI Cooper S Deal Pricing - NorCal

Hey everyone,

I am ready to order a 07 Cooper S...as I live in the Bay Area, my wife and I did the test drive at BMW SF and we fell in love with the car...it's just pure fun to drive it. Anyway, we price our S as the following:

Premium, Sports, Hyper Sports, Convenience, Navigation...and some...

The SF dealer was surprisingly sound pretty flexible about the markup...without checking this site for quite some time, is it possible to order a new S without paying markup, or even under MSRP now?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Not paying markup? Sure. Mountain View and Pleasanton don't charge any markup on ordering for sure. I'm not quite sure if Concord still does. MV tells me they've been quite busy this past month cause people from SF came to them since SF is still charging a 2-3K markup on their cars. I'd check out the other 3 first before ordering.

They darn well should be, they mark up $2000!!! Do yourself a favor and drive to Concord and get it at MSRP with no haggle pricing, you could probably get the good ol' "I throw the mat in for free" deal". Not sure that you'll get under MSRP around here though. I like Concord enough that, that is where all my service is getting done at and I bought from Neillo in Sac. because they could have it on the lot much faster for me (by 2+ months!).

Have also read many are happy with Mountain View at MSRP, also no haggle.

I couldn't stand dealing with SF every time I went in there. Too bad too, would have been convenient for me to get service done there.

Right on, thanks guys for the quick response. I will definitely give these other dealers a call...MSRP sounds great.

At least I don't have to beg those SF greeds to take $50 off the $2500 markup they want on the S.
