BRG versus Chili Red -- which is cleaner?
I drove in rain the other day, and got the boot very dirty. Not any other part--just the boot. Fortunately I have to take it in today for some minor warranty work, and it will be returned to me washed!
Sounds like Chili Red wins hands down on the "looking good while unwashed" front. Thanks for all the responses. I'm definitely not completely ruling BRG out just on this count, by the way, it's just one of many things to take into consideration. FWIW, after driving a silver car for 7 years, there's something appealing about a non-metallic color just as a change of pace.
My MINI ends up dirty alot but it takes awhile to get her that way. were you going with a white or black top?? cause if you go for black beware that when washing, the black water spots very easily. good going with the red, i think were tend to be pretty spunky
BRG. When you do clean it, it looks so freakin' HAWT!!!. Mine does not get that dirty, and as Gromit said, it does not take any longer to clean.
In addition, there are less BRGs out there (if that counts for anything)

My first choice would have been BRG, but not the with metalflake.
Arizona has lots of dust, so nothing looks clean the next day.
Chili Red is great for pictures. Check out the sunset thread and see how many of my shots are of a dirty car. Of course, the lighting has something to do with it.
If it's really important to you, get a light brown and don't ever wax it.

Parking in a garage overnight does help though.
