It's what is in the seat that counts.
I ran my first Xcross ( we had a test and tune day two weeks ago) in my MCS this weekend on my brand new ECSTA MX tires. I was not happy with my times and thought when I finished I could get at least 4 sec. faster on a 112 sec. run. A younger and much better driver put up a 107 sec run on RUN FLATS!!!. He was in GS and I won the street tire class but it showed that what is in the driver's seat is more important than $$$$$$. NEED MORE SEAT TIME AND BETTER LINES!!!
Ahhh you learn fast grasshopper.... seat time seat time seat time....
look for an Evolution Driving school too. they are auto-x specific and great from what I hear... I want to go to one but have not been able to yet... (after 8 years of doing this crazy sport LOL) or a cheaper option is to see if your local SCCA program has novice schools... Here in Atlanta we have them at great prices and you get to learn from some great people... some are even past National Champions!!
