FYI - Anyone living in the Greenville/Spartanburg area in SC - a car show/"fun ralley"/autocross at the BMW Zentrum this weekend. The "fun ralley" is on Sunday, which looks like it might be fun. Anyway, I'm going to try and go. If I see any other Minis I'll stop and say hi. here's the link.

There will be quite a few of us competing in the autocross on Sunday. Autocross is tons more fun than any "Fun ralley" . They don't even have to put the word fun in the name to make it sound like fun. And a car show is a bunch of cars standing still . If I wanted to see sedentary cars I'd look in my driveway.

All kidding aside, get there early and register for the autocross. It is a blast. I'd be happy to instruct any and all first timers.
