Recently had a '05 Porsche Boxster S dedicated track car and was about to start another Boxster track project but am considering a Mini. We have two Minis in the house ('14 JCW Coupe and '13 GP) that are weekend mountain runners but don't want to convert to dedicated track cars. I was thinking of a '13 S or JCW if I could find one. I realize a drastically different platform front vs mid/rear drive and shorter wheel base. I run HPDE3 in NASA and was looking to move into Time Trials. I appreciate any thoughts. Also considering a BRZ as well.
