MINI shutting down factory team in WRC

From AUTOWEEK: Mini announced on Friday that it is pulling its financial support from WRC Team Mini Portugal as well as the team's drivers Chris Atkinson and Paulo Nobre, at the end of the 2012 FIA World Rally Championship

They pulled out of funding for RSR Motorsports too. Then yanked the rugg out from under the B-Spec Racing last minuted too.

I am guessing new blood in management positions are too young to know, or understand the value of trackside advertising and concept of...."win on Sunday, sell on Monday ! "
