Unfortunately it's not good news.

I've been calling Schroth about 3 - 4 weeks before every track day that I have done in my R56 since I picked it up in September 07.

The story I have gotten was that they hadn't tested the new version yet because they didn't have access to a seat to do the testing. Then they got the seats but hadn't been able to complete the testing.

I spoke to someone today who gave me further information.

Apparently, the US regulations have changed and Schroth is having trouble finding someone who can test ALL the Quick-fit Harnesses, not just for the R56.

My contact said that there's a slight possibility that they won't be able to test the new QFHs and that they may have to discontinue them.

That sucks. I loved the QFH in my M3 and was disappointed to see R56 ones not available.

Guess we'll have to do a rear seat delete and roll cage, or get MINI Challenge cars for the weekend.
