>>Good luck Kimi!

You're sure gonna need it. Only outright victory and Schumi finishing outside the points can do it. Still, stranger things have happened, especially at Suzuka. Looks like some late night viewing this week-end.
I would like to see Button finish this season with a few more points. He has done great this year for the car he’s driving. If not for his engine last race, he may have had top honors.
That would be nice. It was great to see a BAR at the front of the pack at Indy. So much promise, so few results... And now with Jacques gone; yes let's root for Jenson to get more points. And some for Minardi, while we're at it. Go Jos go!

Congratulations to Michael Schumacher on his 6th World Championship, simply amazing!
The Suzuka race was a nail-biter start to finish. How dissapointing for Montoya, who was on a blistering pace out of the gates. Great race by Button, Trulli, and Sato! Ralf get's the "Hack of the Race" award; with one spin, one nudge, and one rear-ending.

Sadly the F1 season is over...This year was much more interesting with point redistribution and new rules...
Yeah Jenson!!!
Yeah Rubens!!!
You really deserved to be the hero with no holding back.
Sorry Kimi, Your day will come.....
Congrats to MIchael and Ferrari on a great season. It was great to see you both work for it proving that you are indeed #1.

Congrats M. Schumacher...I predict that a seventh WC will be difficult...that said, there is hope for Montreal, although slim...from f1-live.com
Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone is pushing for an 18-Grand Prix world championship next year by getting Canada back into the calendar.
The Canadian race was dropped due to a ban on tobacco advertising but Ecclestone was understood to have asked FIA president Max Mosley for another two weeks before drawing up the official calendar.
New races in Bahrain and China have already been confirmed on the 2004 Formula One calendar.
The 17-race list also features Belgium's return after a one year absence. The Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps returns after a ban on tobacco advertising was lifted.

Six World Championships....broke a record that has stood since 1957. That in itself speaks volumes for Schumi.
Now comes the wait. ...Its only been 30 hours and I can't stand it... BTW here's the calendar for next year.
Hooray only 4 3/4 months until the next GP!!

I can hardly wait.

>>I don't care what anyone says, last year WAS interesting and I didn;t miss a race. This year, even though the results were closer, they were still the same. >>Louay
Louay,
Last year's (2002) championship was a total Ferrari walk in the park. By the time the European campaign was over, there weren't even table scraps to be fought over. This year (2003) when the circus got to Indy, there were three potential winners representing three different teams still neck and neck. And while yes, the song remained the same, it was light years ahead of last year. Sorry but I can't even put 2002 and 2003 in the same league.

Yahoo!!!!!!! World Championship number 6
I agree 2002 was a great season too because if you look at each individual race, Ferrari won in closely fought battles most of the time. It just looked dominating because when they dominated they pulled these stupid stunts. Next season is going to be exciting with a four way team battle and who knows a Toyota, Sauber or Honda joining the fray.
What???? We have to wait for over 4 months???? I'm in withdrawal already!!

This season was exciting due to the bizarre qualifying system and the weather. It has been a frustrating not being able to tell who is the fastest car. The drama of qualifying is not there any more. On the other hand, the races have generally not been runaways and you get cool things like a Ferrari or Renault having to fight from back of the grid.
The new points system made the championship artificially close. Kimi, with only one win should not have been that close to Michael.
So the F1 season is over, it is now all the Silly Season! That is never boring.
It also helps to be a MotoGP fan!

NEWS FLASH: Michael Schumacher jumps ship...heads to Toyota!
...or should this read...brothers don't let brothers drive drunk...
This shot is from Schumacher's WC party and I have no idea how he ended up with the Panasonic Toyota crew shirt on...see more at f1-live.com...

When you win your 6th WC crown, I'll forgive your indiscretion in trashing an hotelroom or two. I mean it is Japan, where even the friggin' walls are made of paper. Warm Saki + Geisha girls + Eel Sushi + F1 boys = A party I'd like to have attended.
I read this weekend where Montoya has a contract with McLaren for the 05 season. This will make the 04 season between DC and Kimi very interesting thinking who has the better season in 04, will have the ride in 05.
I think even a WC couldn't help DC at this stage. All those years with McLaren and so little to show for it. While his team mate won in '98, '99 and mounted a substantial challenge in '00 and '03. Sorry, but Kimi is assured of being the "keeper" of this duo.
FIA meeting to finalize '04 schedule. Latest I've heard is that there is a conflict with the Nurburgring date (rock concert) and that Canada is an almost sure go, while France is an almost sure gone. Any other rumors?
HEY Boys and Girls,
Guess what time it is (almost)!
2004 GP Season is about to get underway.
Tire wars are about to heat up
Everyone is still Number 1 in the World Championship.
I can hardly wait.
Only 15 more days, and 6 hrs to go.
