Ready to get into auto-x - what class are my mods in?

I attended a track day that the Local dealer hosted. I am hooked and have to do that more often. I am in the process of researching which wheels / tires to use but I wanted to know what class my car is in.

I have a 2003 MCS with a CAI and a pulley. I know that bumps me up in a class and that is fine. I am not looking at being competitive just getting out and having fun. If I am last then so be it...

I am really more interested in track time than auto-x but I figure I will have more opportunities per year at auto-x events.

Well, for standard SCCA classing, your pulley bumps you up into Street Modified (SM).

SM also allows most of the other common mods that MINI owners have, so unless you have anything really wild on your car, it's in SM class

Get used to being whooped by EVO's and STI's...or hope that the course is tight.
