You guys are missing the point. He has a Clubman and everyone else is showing pics of their R56 hardtop.

My car is a factory JCW and it came with something called a factory aero kit. I had it swapped out for the gen2 JCW aero kit a year after I bought the car.

Take a look at this pic, again its hardtops but it shows the three configurations for body kits for the R56 hardtop.

Silver S has has the factory aero kit. Blue JCW has the JCW aero kit. Yellow JCW has the stock bumpers. This picture was taken in the spring of 2010.

At some point maybe the LCI switchover they started including the hardtop JCW with the JCW aero kit. Maybe someone with a JCW Clubman can chime in and show some pics.

I found this at a dealer. Fell in love. Read your post and remembered it. I can't answer your questions as I don't know the intimate details of JCW but here's a car and a dealer to check out. Hopefully it can help. If nothing else, it may answer that yours is NOT an anomally. http://www.minibaltimore.com/Vehicle...-MD/2100767093

You're right guys,

The photos show the standard aero package on the fjcw clubman, the optional aero kit on the website adds different trim and the r56 style side skirts.

Hello guys, been doing more home study today!
Yep, the link to that JCW clubman shows it without side-skirts.
Kinda strange still.
We get the front bumper along with the rear bumper but not the side-skirts?
And if we click on the aero kit @ 2182.00 we then get the same front/rear bumper but they throw in the side skirts?

I searched 11 dealers this am and found the Paceman, countryman, roadster, coupe, and hard top ALL with side-skirts standard!

One Paceman had a different looking side-skirt I haven't seen before, but that was the only one.

Can't seem to find any dealers with more Clubman JCW's.
I hear they are rare, but there must be some here on these forums, I have seen the pictures, but haven't talked to the owners.

Still holding out for good news from the Midwest Rep.
Just keeping you updated due to the additional posts.

P.S. Almost forgot, tried to configure a new JCW Clubman, and after adding the aero kit....it would show the side-skirt on the driver side, then when rotated to the rear view/passenger view......no side-skirt was shown? Just curious.

I believe the FJCW R55 (Clubman) is the exception to the rule.

All fJCW's apart for the Clubman have the "ribbed" side skirts.

The R55 FJCW does not (unless you buy the aerokit option).

Took delivery of the wife's 14 clubman back in October... does not have the side skirts. Didn't order the aerokit, but am considering adding the ribbed skirts at some point later on.

Yes I remember your posts before and that sweet looking ride.
Looks like unless they feel sorry for me I might be out of luck.
Not sure why they would pick a model of of the line to be left out of these!
Some MA/SA think it comes standard.
Some say you must purchase them.

Keeping my fingers crossed here.
If not, maybe I'll just sell it to another MINI enthusiast.

Thanks guys for your replies.

We'll fellas, they didn't feel sorry for me!
Got the word today from the Midwest/Regional Manager Person Guy.
Looks like there were a few or one area where it says all fJCW's get everything, but that was in fact in correct he says.
Also, the fJCW Clubman does NOT get the full aero effects, just the front and rear bumpers.
So if I wanted the car to look like the fJCW Hardtops in the showroom, I should have ordered the "kit" for about two grand more and then I would gave gad it.
Bummer to me, and maybe a few others, but after spending $49,000.00 plus I wasn't thinking I needed the "kit"!
Just thought I'd update this post for those who either were or might be interested in the facts.

Now for the decision.......sell it and take the loss, or spend more to add the side skirts!
Shame it takes 7 months to get a solid answer, but even the MA, SA, and two Techs weren't sure.

Thanks to those who posted pics and replied back.

Really sorry to hear about your outcome. I would have also thought aerokit means full aerokit. MINI handled this badly.

Man....that's ridiculous that the fJCW R55 doesn't come with the side skirts. What kind of crap is that? Even though you can clearly tell from the configurator on MINI's website that the R55 doesn't have the side skirts, that's really weak. I mean, the R56 came with them and so does the R57, R58, and R59.

Here's an option if you want to get the REAL JCW side skirts:

I clearly remember back in 2011 when I was configuring a JCW clubman on the Mini site that the clubman didn't come with the JCW rib side skirts just the front and rear. If you ordered the aero kit from the dealership it comes with the ribbed side skirts. Perhaps the same goes for all club mans after 2011 and up.

Here's a 2014 JCW clubman and it doesn't have the aero skirts.
