Yes it needs to be completely off or big brother stops the fun. My issue is that in sport mode the short throttle makes it hard to modulate the tire spin coming out of corners. I would prefer to have the non sport throttle travel with the rest of the sport mode items. I think having more throttle to play with would help when the turbo spools up and all hell brakes loose.
