Springs or Coils? Also, brand?

I am so confused on what springs or coils I should purchase to lower it just a little and different ride on my JCW.

Anyone have any ideas? I would like a 1.5" drop and I hear H&R would do that.

Thanks for any ideas or photos!

Are you planning to auto cross or track the car, or is your goal to get better handling? If so you should consider coilovers. If you're going mainly for looks then you'll save money by swapping out only the springs.

I can't comment on springs alone but I'm using the KW V2 coilovers and I love them. Made a huge difference in own the car handles. I got them from Way Motor Works with the TSW spec springs designed for the Minis.

I am actually in the same boat. I'm looking for better handling, ride quality, and a lower profile. I would love to hear people's feedback as well.

I had the HR springs on my 06 S on 17s with the SS and the ride was pretty rough. It looked great but I swear on some dips on the road I loosened a filling or two.

Goal is a little drop but better ride quality and I would like to track this car.

I had the base suspension in my JCW and went with KW v3 and lowered 1 1/2 "
Love the ride on the street and the adjustability for other venues. 1 1/2" may be a little too low for fast ' carousel' - I am gonna go back up a bit ( I can adjust ht, rebound and compression independently with the V3).
