What happened to abf tech?
I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you or anyone else, but we have been going through some changes at ABF TD.
Some may have noticed ABF Tech Division and Cobb have been working together for some time now with pretty good success. After some talks with both companies the owners of Tech Division and I have decided to move forward with plans to merge operations with Cobb in their new SoCal facility.
As a result Tech Division will cease to exist as all operations have been handed over to Cobb SoCal. ABF TD Pres. Dez Ballard has yet to decide his permanent roll with the company and will continue to pursue his racing career for the time being. I will continue to do the same work I always have, but now also serve as an additional MINI adviser to Cobb in an effort to expand their MINI product line beyond the AP.
For our customers this is a very beneficial opportunity. They can expect all the same work quality and craftsmanship they have come to expect from ABF, but from a brand new 15,000 SQ-FT facility that includes an in house dyno cell. This will greatly improve our ability to tune customer cars and test products.
The previous ABF TD phone numbers, fax and emails will no longer work as Octane has noted. All inquiries into future work and services will need to be made with Cobb SoCal. This info can be found at http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?id=5542
Further more my screen name will be changing from Mike@Tech Division to Mike@Cobb SoCal. This may or may not show up on previous post, but will be what I post as in the near future.
