What does a 2009 Stage One JCW Intake look like?

Outside like std JCW or S box, inside...
is a short bend/duct that then pulls the air from a cone filter contained entirely inside the upper part of the box. I'm assuming you are referring to the one used in the JCW "kit" that is used to tune S's further.
It uses a separate gasket for the upper and lower box halves. Meanwhile, either the stock S or JCW use a conventional panel filter. Having done some calculations on both when physically in hand, the JCW kit (cone) one has slightly over 100 square inches of nominal outside surface volume to the filter element--surprisingly large but obviously relates to cylindrical shape--while the panel one has somewhat under 60. Hard to account for differences in media, pleating and a variety of other things though. An aftermarket retrofit oil based foam filter is also available for it, though I don't think oil and MAF's mix well.
