A different to what? Performance? None. Visual? There are a few pics on here with them added to CM's - I'd say subtle.
I should have been more specific.
I mean do they actually do their job of stopping mud (dirt/debris) from spraying the side(s) of the vehicle? And if so how adequately do they do that job? I guess the only way to know is to drive the same conditions everyday where you get your Mini dirty (and it's obviously from lack of mudflaps). Then compare that a before and after the mudflaps are installed. You could at least see a difference in pattern or amount of dirt/mud.
I'm just curious if anyone has done such a comparison.

Ah
Often smaller profile mudflaps like these don't do a ton (from my experience). They are more for aesthetics than anything. The Flaps that do work well typically are the ugly ones that go all the way down almost to the road and are very wide - kinda like what the Subaru guys use.
Nope front is black too, just can't see it from that weird angle. I believe our CM had the Off road Appearance package on it, which gives it the black font/rear bumpers.

I loved my Rally Armor mud flaps on my STi! Truth be told, I haven't even order my CM yet, and I already looked to see if they made some for the mini...They don't. BUT! lucky for me (if it hasn't changed) they are in Queens, NY, so I will volunteer a test car and see how it looks.
After getting my wife's permission, I drove her Countryman to our town tax office. I had overpaid my December property tax bill and needed to go give them another check. Always nice to discover you did not have to spend as much money as you thought you did!
Newborn had his 1st car trip home in the CM. It sat out in -5F temps for 2 days at the hospital and fired up like a champ. BTW - clutch is extremely lethargic when cold!
Merry Christmas to me! Install was straight forward...most difficult part was figuring out how to access the battery to disconnect. Now hoping for some warmer weather and ice free pavement to see if there is a noticeable change in performance.

OOOOOoo!!
In for a review once you've driven.
Also - details on battery access!
This is going on ours as soon as she makes her first oil change.
Also - is this the Elite version you got? How long was install?

Yes, Dinan Elite. Followed instructions on website and install is no more than an hour. Easiest access to remove battery cable is to lift off rubber trim that seals to the hood and then remove the panel below the windshield that runs the width of the car above the battery. Once the rubber trim is lifted this piece slides forward (toward front of car) and then you can simply lift it up allowing you to put a socket on the battery terminal clamp. Very simple once you figure it out.
Take the extra time to route and secure the wiring harness nicely. As you can see, I located the module on the plastic panel next to the positive battery boosting post. I ended up removing the red plastic cover and turning it 180 degrees to allow a little more room in the area. The recommended placement in the instructions is for an F56 and on the F60 the area is a little different and not as large.
