I sold my 2023 Cooper S 4 door (F55) and replaced it with a 2024 Cooper S 2 door (F56) with a manual transmission. While the F55 wasn’t exactly a quiet ride, the F56 is much noisier! The F56 only has 3,700 miles on the clock. Is this noisiness common for this MINI… does the 6 speed manual contribute to the noise level?

I should add that the noise is coming from the rear of the vehicle, not the engine area.

“Noise” is a pretty generic word…. What are you hearing? Also, the 4-door has a bit more distance between the rear of the car and the drivers ears.
