Hello all!
I recently bought my wife a 2014 F56. It is one owner and very well kept. Technically, it is my fifth BMW. I have had a 1999 325, a 2005 X3, a 2008 535, and a 2011 X5 35d, which I loved and miss.
There is only one issue with the new ride. Cold start rough idle. I read and read and found that a DME update will fix it. I took it to BMW of Spokane since no Mini dealers are here, and they wanted about a grand just for the update. They stated, "unfavorable DME version"
So I tried to find the update to do myself, as I've dabbled with this before with BMWs, but I cannot for the life of me find the files. All of the listed sites don't work. Has anyone had luck in downloading the files, has a site, or will help a brother out with sending me the files so I can get this fixed? If not I'll just let the car idle for a bit before leaving, but would like to not have to worry about it. Thanks in advance!!!
