tuning options for 2024 MCS

Anyone know the story with a change with 2024 Cooper Ss that prevents tuning? I thought I read something somewhere about not being able to or it being harder to tune? I'm particularly interested in the external piggyback plug in device, but it seems Burger and Dinan's products don't support the 2024 cars? Something about a different sensor maybe. Any insight is appreciated.

Hmmm piggybacks should still work. The main issue is just like BMW, all 2021+ cars have "locked" DMEs and the only way you can flash tune them is to have this one company in Finland unlock the DME for you and ship it back. This shouldn't affect piggyback tuners, but flash tuning is vastly preferable IMO.
