Changing the tire size on my 2017 F56S to deal with the intersection of low-profile run flats and potholes. While researching the impact on calibration (speedo, odometer) I ran across this bit from a thread in Bimmerfest: directly code the rolling radius.
On at least some BMWs there is an ICM (Integrated Chassis Management module) parameter called C_Dyn_Rollradius, where the wheel+tire rolling radius is specified in centimeters.
BUT... the MINI (or at least my MINI) does not have an ICM module.
I have dug through Bimmercode to try to find C_Dyn_Rollradius under other modules and have struck out.
Does anyone know offhand what the equivalent parameter is for the MINI? I figure there has to be one, since there are multiple stock wheel+tire rolling radii for the MINI and calibrating for the wrong one would throw off speedo and odometer alike... something has to be in there somewhere.
Did you check your brand Spanky new Foxwell NT710??
Thought I saw "change tire size" in its description page.
I haven't had the chance to dig into the Foxwell yet and didn't think of it because it says it has no coding functionality -- but that's coding I guess! Huh! Will go look -- thank you!
Sooooo I think that bit may be "if available for your vehicle." I just had my NT710 plugged in and couldn't find a single reference to "tire" much less "tire size."
Anybody actually found it in there beyond the best-case-scenario capabilities of an NT710?
