F56 2014 Mini Cooper S Driver Seatback Has Play & Doesnt Lock at Times
Hi to all,
Needless to say its issue after issue with this car. Even my BMW mechanic asked why I bought it. "It" being a 2014 Mini Cooper S B46 Manual, loaded up aside from navigation with the larger screen.
Anyhow, my driver's seatback now started to have some play in it. Also, and quite scary, it will fully recline when I hit the gas unless I remember to firmly press down on the adjustment lever on the side of the seat.
I googled it and found many with similar issues dating back to gen 1 Mini Coopers.
What do I need to do here? Replace the entire seat? Replace the seat mechanism?
