OK, I thought I would do a little online research, before working on a problem I am having (hoping the fix is simply a low-cost fuse).

Where is the interior fuse box?

I found a thread entitled "2007-present Fuse Box location", but I don't think that the R56 and the F56 are really identical.
I found a few Youtube videos, but they are all of RHD MINI's. If my fuse box is in the same location they show, my steering column goes right thru the middle of it.
I found a picture showing an access door in the back of the glove box. I don't have one, and have a feeling that the design changed sometime during the run of F56's.
I found another posting warning to not remove the two screws, under the glove box door, as shown in User Manual. Something to do with harming the air bag.

I can't believe there isn't a Youtube video that is applicable to a 2016 LHD F56. Gee, they even have Youtube videos showing how to turn the bloody head lights on!

 

There is a clip on the fuse box that allows it yo drop below the glove box.
