Part ID - longshot

Hi all.
I was changing the cabin air filter in '15 MCS F55... When I removed the side kick panel, this part dropped right onto the floorboard.
Both the glove box and hidden compartment are still working, along with the vent on that side. So has anyone seen this part? Know what it goes to? Something for a ventilation flap?
Thanks!!!

Looks like either the glove box internal or the HVAC system flap motor part.

Do you see anything up their it looks like it hooks to?

Thanks
Mike

No, I didn't inspect thoroughly. It was dusk and I had a job to accomplish. I guess I will have to take a closer look and maybe remove some more panels and maybe the seat to see up in there.
I know I didn't dislodge it during my work as it fell down just as I was puling the kickpanel off. Like it was just resting on top for a while.

Thanks for the response!
