Ladies and gents I really need your assistance right now. I purchased the JCW rear bumper and have had it painted. Went out to install it today and discovered something. The black band pieces that attach to the side do not fit. The part number for the pieces that I discovered and was 99% sure was going to fit is 51127365155 and 51127365156 (left and right). It's listed as fitting F55, F56, and F57 vehicles however I could not for the life of me get them to fit and I'm trying my best not to mess up the freshly painted bumper. The issue I'm running into is I can get one tab clicked in and secured but then it seems like nothing else lines up. None of the other tabs, the screw hole, or anything. Has anyone installed the JCW rear bumper and regular corner pieces (Not the JCW Pro rear pieces) on a F55?

 

Do you have PDC Park distance Control??

I do not have PDC. Hence the 51127365155 part number that I listed. It comes out as being for a F55, F56, and F57 but I cannot seem to get them to fit

 

I've read the rear bumpers are slightly different for 3 and 5 door Minis (5 door going further under) so maybe the corner pieces are also different? you may have the wrong ones?
Is your 3 or 5 doors?

 

The bumpers are different. I can confirm that as my brother has a JCW hardtop. I have the 5 door. The corner pieces according to realoem.com are the same between a F56 and a F55 however, I'm not so sure that's the case despite everyone telling me that's the right part number.

 

Fronts are the same, rear are different. Those corner pieces do say F55-F57. Got a picture?
