2015 Mini 4-door battery Removal

I am looking for some help on getting the battery out of our 2015 4-door hardtop mini. I have the covers removed, cables disconnected, new battery at the ready but I cannot even begin to budge the old battery. Looking down the tiny crevasses around the battery I don't see anything holding it in place, but there must be as I can't move it at all. I've searched around forums and cannot find an answer.

I know I'll need the $$ re-code, etc. But I didn't think I'd spend 5 hours just trying to get the battery out of the vehicle.

help, please.

Moocher - thank you. I'm on it. Looks like exactly what I need, but bummed I didn't find that link myself yesterday...

In case this is still an issue, you may find this video helpful. (Removing the ECU requires getting the battery out of the way.)
