Any news from Pirelli on this? I have a 2015 F56 with 8900 miles. Car came with Pirelli Cinturato P7 All-Season Run Flats. Last week my dealer said that my front tire are at 4/32" and need to be replaced. Rear are just fine at 8/32". Pirelli is telling me that because the tires came with the car they carry no warranty at all.
What Is Not Covered by the Limited Warranty?
Mileage warranty on tires fitted as Original Equipment (Pirelli tires supplied as Original Equipment on new vehicles).
Here are my OEM 17" run-flat Pirellis, at about 20k miles. I've rotated on occasion, and I'd say that most of this wear occurred at the front end of the car, though they are on the back now. The other set has much more life left. But yeah I'm getting the same wear at the shoulders that I think OP describes- underinflation, right? Checked the other day, to find them at 30 psi cold... oops. Took them to 36. Sounds like everyone here likes 38 best though. Will do that soon.
Not on mine. Pretty sure it's 40/40. I keep it at least 38/38. Like I said my OEM Dunlap Sport 1 RFs summer tires lasted 26k.
You seem to constantly get lost in the threads of NAM. 3rd Generation F56 cars which this thread is dealing with are as stated. Your car and tires don't belong in this discussion.
