dynamic dampeners replaced?

I have a 2014 with 90k miles on it.
i have the dynamic dampeners. my question is can you replace them with konis

are there replacement parts for sale? what to do if they go bad ?

overall i feel they are good quality however really both settings are stiff.

in reality it is sort of a gimmick and real manual adjustable shocks are probably better.

What tires are you running? Runflats are very stiff. Changing to non-runflat tires will soften things up a lot.

Personally, I can definitely tell a difference in the DDC settings ... much more compliant in normal setting.

You can replace them with manual ones but the system is made for the DDC/EDC and will show an error as there is no canceller yet for those Koni's, KW has coilover that work with EDC and have the canceller. Bilstein might in the near future.

You can get the OEM replacements: But for one shock they are a little pricey, let me know if you need them.

I'm running 17" wheels BBS 7.5"
215/45/17 Goodyear asymmetric 2

From oem 18" 205/40/18

Night and day difference, not harsh at all

I'm Looking to upgrade from VDC to coilovers to stiffen things up in the corners
Only 40,000 miles so still fresh compared to yours

I chose DDC because of day-to-day driving road conditions and am very happy with them. I did want better handling, but did not want to sacrifice compliance on bad roads. My solution was to add the NM Engineering 25 mm sway bar and Craven Seed Big Pair. I have been very happy with the results. Much better and flatter cornering without sacrificing ride quality and I have the option of stiffening it up if I want. There are cheaper options than totally replacing the system with coilovers.

I removed my DDC suspension a couple months ago for KW coilovers. I'm willing to sell them if your interested. 20k miles on them.
