I actually bought mine on eBay from a guy in Ireland. Paid 320€ including shipping. It had a 40£ stamp on it when it arrived 5 days later. I saw a couple of them available in Ireland when I bought mine, but I got the only one with free shipping to the states.
A quick search found this one in the UK.

They just came out with new software. Added a couple of things I suggested, so they're listening to their users at least. I'm still happy with mine and when I can drive it again, hopefully Friday, I'll update my software and check out the new features.

Exploride is another option, and currently available for $299 as a preorder special price.

Nope, but they have added a water temp gauge.
More info on software update.

I was skeptical at first. At the time I bought mine they had recently dropped from ~$800 to ~$499 MSRP and recently they were being offered for $399, but I don't know if that's still in effect. I actually paid $340 for mine NIB from a guy in Ireland via eBay. Don't think he realized what the shipping would cost (€40) when he offered free shipping. It exceeded my expectations across the board (looks, functions, ease of use) and by listening to their customers they're constantly improving it. Like the links says, "Over 100 Million miles logged in over 100 countries" tends to make me think they will continue to do so. Every time I get one of their surveys I request that they make any aux gauges supported by the vehicles OBD port available, and like I said, now it has the coolant temp gauge. I will continue to press them on these features. The NAV function works so well that I'm going to pull my Garmin and I'm seriously considering removing the ScanGauge too. The method of updating software is pretty cool too. When I first got it I plugged the unit directly into my computer to download North America maps and update firmware. After that, the updates are downloaded into the NAVDY App on your phone and is transferred to the dash unit via Bluetooth the next time you drive your car. The thing actually has more features than I will ever use, like reading and replying to text/emails. I don't use it to control my music either, but it's kind of cool when it flashes the album art and title on the right side of the screen whenever a new song starts playing then goes back to whatever gauge you had selected.
This one does much more than the OEM version and with an additional mounting kit can be transferred to another car in seconds. It connects to the mount with a strong magnet so it's easily removable for security purposes or to keep it out of the sun when not in use.
I'm not a spokesperson for, nor do I receive any compensation from this company for posting my impressions. I'm just a satisfied customer that thinks some more of you out there that didn't option the HUD might like to try it.

I'm concerned if the speedometer/rev counter blocks the HUD in any angle. Also, when installed, will the wireless/hand jester port/feature be blocked by the gauge/steering wheel?

The first picture is from the driver's seat. The display info can only be seen from the drivers perspective. The speedo is not in the way, and no, the steering wheel doesn't interfere with gestures. If you look at the first picture, on the right hand side of the unit you can see the camera for gestures.

Now time to save up for this amazing device
Question for vetsvette:
Does the Navdy use your phone's data while driving? A review I read on the Apple App Store says that the Waze App uses less data than the Navdy. I really am thinking about the Navdy but really don't want another Data parasite sucking up my monthly data. My 16 yr. old does enough of that for the whole family!
TIA

It just stores destinations on your phone. The NAV unit itself is in the dash unit. That’s why you plug it into a USB port on your computer when you first get it. To install latest maps and software. After that, any updates are downloaded to your phone and transferred via BT the next time the unit syncs with yoUr phone. If the NAV worked with straight data you would be SOL when you’re out in the boonies. If you’re navigating with your phone and lose signal you’re toast. I haven’t noticed any increase in data usage and I use my NAVDY all the time.
Still the potential for this technology is only scratched, what navy proves is that you have actually a better aftermarket solution at hand than MINI offers ex works.
If Navy would be open to offer the possibility to mirror a iPhone or at leat to select OBD data of interest, besides same useles stuff, they would get the final Star from me.
However i understand that their main focus is on basic features to connect any car, and that they do perfect. Maybe Navy II offers bigger screen / projector to run your rear mirrors with them, or have video conference with your banker, "Sorry i have a Cayman behind me.....need the screen"
In this field we will see many others popping up, hopefully some of

I'll be a happy camper when they allow up to two auxiliary gauges on each side and can monitor boost and oil pressure. All the data is available on the OBD II port, they just have to do the programming. I agree, a little larger screen in the future would allow more content without looking cluttered. Are you listening NAVDY? I suggest these things every time they send me a survey asking my opinion of the system.

Just saw a listing on eBay for $332. New, open box, and BestBuy has four of them. Says they might be missing cable clip, but you don't need those anyway.

it cuts of after while, I have it permanently installed, even their basic dashboard is better than any MINI stuff, by saying this, i can only laugh that i promote a unknown company , but in my mind anybody who thinks this is Alibaba **** misses a great gadget.

When you power the car down the NAVDY powers down automatically.
