I've changed the pressures to 36 / 34
In my 2016 MCS the sticker says 39 PSI for all 4 tires. When tire pressure naturally goes down with time and car shows less than 36, then of course the ride is a bit softer but it introduces more road noise and I feel road imperfections more. So I keep tires filled to 39 PSI. What I did notice is that 2020 MCS which is exact same car with same wheel size, had 38 front and 35 rear on the sticker. I don't really get this...why is that?

What was your recommended pressure on your vehicle and why did you change it?

Maybe the 2020 model is a slightly different weight?
I can't remember the pressures on the sticker but i reduced mine as i thought they were too high, ok for fuel economy but a bit harsher on our potholed roads

Could be a bit different weight but the car had the same specs as mine just without dynamic dampers. Of course the tires were Pirelli Cinturato P7 RTF

Oh, I see, I though you did it for something specific to get better handling or to correct an issue with cornering. So you basically did it to ease the road harshness. Our roads are not that bad I guess, less potholes, just regular imperfections and different types/patches of asphalt.

Downside on my tires is that front left is leaking a bit of air and it has been like that over a year since I bough the car used. Doesn't seem to be a hole as it may take weeks of gradual air escape and front right does it too, but is bit less. Rear tires stay filled properly for longer time.

My tyres are also the Pirelli runflats
You should have got your leak sorted if it's been happening for a year, maybe the sidewall has broken down slightly due to low pressure? over in UK we can have runflats repaired if they have a puncture (some garage say you can't to try and sell you a new tyre), could also be the valve leaking?

I did an oil change in the MINI two weeks ago and told them to check valve stem if it is not tight/loose. They supposedly looked but couldn't find anything. No cracks that I can see and tire is no more than 4 years old. If it is not factory defect, then I can let all air out and then pump the air back to make tire re-seat on the rim. I recently received valve tool, so will check to see if valve core is leaking air, if it does, then I will tighten it or have MINI replace it.

That seems odd, did you check the owners manual? Maybe they put the wrong sticker on the car. I've only seen front/back MINI tire pressures being the same on the ALL/4 set ups like our old CM. Got a picture of the label?

So on my 2016 MINI it is 39 PSI on all 4 tires. That 2020 MCS loaner had 38/F and 35/R. It was on the door sticker. I only took a picture of the car before giving it back

my 2020 F56 (BTW neebie here) says 36F 32R. When I had the car delivered I took it for a ride and the first thing that I noticed was the huge roll effect it had and the steering felt twitchy... checked air pressure and it was 40/40 reduced it to what is noted and now its a lot better still has some sway but may be since I'm coming off an M2 I need to adjust...

The 2019 owner's manual lists a bunch of different tire pressure settings based on the wheel and tire sizes that was installed in your car. The Sticker on the door is good for the tire wheel combination that the car left the factory with. They also list different recommendations if you drive over 100 MPH .

Yes, the manual does list tire pressure according to the model and below or above 100 MPH. So the sticker on my car shows PSI that is under 100 MPH. If I would drive mostly over 100, then I think PSI goes up to 45 or a bit less. I usually try to do 39 or 40 in all tires and this provides with a good overall road feel.

Oh you recently bought the car? If that is the case, Congrats! The steering wheel does feel too sensitive at times and requires micro corrections from the driver.

thats me... even with the local lock down I'm finding excuses to take a drive... what better social distancing than in my car alone with the window up driving around.
