Does anyone know of a factory workshop manual source for the F56? I remember in the good ole days popping into my local BMW dealer & buying the factory workshop manual for my BMW E30 & E28! Absolutely explains everything about taking things apart & putting back together! I know I'm probably dreaming but had to ask.

BMW/MINI shop manuals are all online these days via a proprietary system, though I believe you can pay a fee to license access to them which will detail pretty much everything you would need to know in a nice, easy, searchable format.

 

I saw that when I Googled it....but $30 for a timed session is ridiculous! Nothing is better than hard copy with photos on good paper stock. I know I'm a dinosaur, but the E30 manual even has the S14 engine info in it! I hate looking on the computer for everything, especially paying for the privilege! I'd pay $200 for a detailed shop manual that has the entire car included, with sections and part numbers, etc. It doesn't get any better than that when wrenching on a car. As I recall the old 3 ring divider factory BMW manuals used to cost about $70 (but that was the early 90s)...lol! I'm sure MINI wouldn't want owners like us to have too much information! Will probably have to settle for a Bentley in 5 or 6 years! ;-). But, with some urging maybe BMW will release a manual for the F56?
