Passenger seatbelt problem

So my toddler decided to play with the seat belt, seems he got it all twisted and it retracted twisted. Now about 3/4 of the belt is pulled out. It won't pull or or retract. I know there is an airbag behind that column, I'd like to pull it off and get a better look at what's happening, but unsure about the airbag. Any issues pulling the panels off?

If airbags are involved play it safe and disconnect battery. How much fiddling did you do with the belt in trying to release it. Sometimes gentle playing with them can undo toddler destruction. Have done stuff like that back in the day.

I fiddled with it pretty decent. Ended up gently popping the panels off, somehow he managed to get it twisted like 3 times :/. Got it free and untwisted with a little effort
