Parking Assist

Just picked up the new JCW. It's a long story but I ended up ordering it with Parking Assist.
Tried it out last night on our street. I think that it learns because the first 2 times a drunk person could have parked better. It seems to have improved and now I just use it to impress people. I will never actually use it to park!
It is cool the way the steering wheel turns itself but you are in control the whole time as you have to use the brakes and put it in gear.
One good thing about it though. As you all know it is difficult to judge the overhang on the F56 - especially the MCW and JCW when front-in angle parking. Those low front spoilers get scraped pretty easily on those concrete "curb blocks". Good news is that the front sensors give you a warning when you are close and that way reduce the chance of a scrape! Given the cost of repairing the front end this feature alone makes this rather silly add-on worth while.
