Windows scratches

Has anyone had scratches on the inside of the windows from the factory? I got my windows tinted with Huper Optik Ceramic a few weeks after getting my car. They told me it can take up to 2 months to fully cure. After about a month and a half I believe it was fully cured. The ceramic tint is thicker than normal tint and because of this I discovered scratches on the inside of both rear side windows. The scratches stand out like thin white lines in the sun. And of course MINI and the place I got the tint done are blaming each other. I am just curious if anyone has found scratches from the factory. I watched the tint being applied and all they used was a rubber squeegee and a microfiber towel, so I think it came from the factory with the scratches. Opinions??

Almost certainly came from getting the film applied IMO...

If you get a piece of grit on a rubber squeegee, even that can turn into an etching tool. Are you sure the scratch is on the glass and not the film?

Yes. It's on the glass. I had the tint taken off to determine that.
