Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has a car mount for their iPad. I'm not looking for it to be in the windshield (lol) but preferably right in front of the front passenger. I'm asking because I don't have cell reception on a lot of my road trips between cities, and I only have a 16gb phone but a 64gb iPad, which gives me a lot more space to download music for offline listening. I usually just set the iPad in the door cubby, but it would be way more convinient if it was mounted. I haven't started searching yet, but I thought I'd probe the collective before doing that.

 

The passenger?

The usual response here is the Cravenspeed mount or the MINI Click & Drive, but there is one I've seen that you may like for your purposes. They are seat bolt floor mounts, like they use in police cars.

Basically, you can pick a mount and a cradle. Some cradles lock or are custom fit, some are universal.

ProClips has great mounts that use existing dash design features to for the clip part. Have one for my iPhone 6 and it's perfect

 

What model do you use?

 

I have a iPhone 6 mounted but when I looked on their website they have mounts for various units. The ProClip come in two parts. One is the clip to the dash and the other is the part that holds the device.

 

I use a http://www.logitech.com/en-us/produc...rive?crid=1537. You can pretty much put it anywhere and the nice thing is, you can use your ipad and your phone with just a simple magnet on the back.
