How to use the tire jack?

Honestly I didn't watch this
but it is a pretty simple task. Owners manual will show at what points under your car to use the jack.

It was simple to use, but there's an extra assembly that confused me. Not sure what the extra part is for, but it wasn't needed.

It seems worth pointing out that, contrary to what the first video shows, it is OK to change a wheel even if a neighbourhood dog hasn't pissed on it beforehand...
