Navigation screen scratch

So I accidentally scratched my navigation screen this evening while cleaning my car. It's not bad but just knowing it's there irritates me. Any ideas on how to make it go away? It's not severe. Any help or ideas are appreciated!! Thanks!

Sorry to hear of the scratch.

I probably just leave it alone and live with it.

It's maddening when you first do it and it seems like it will always be on your mind. After a while, it really does fade from memory and you actually forget about it (unless it's an "in your face" damage. Based on your description, it sounds minor and something only you are likely to notice unless you point it out to someone.

My experience with these type of things, anything you do to try and fix usually only makes it worse.

Look on the bright side, at least you have a car to scratch
Some of us are still waiting on delivery...

Kidding aside though, really sorry to hear about that. I do agree with USA-RET in that you'd probably only make it worse. It's a bit like trying to remove a scratch from an LCD monitor. With the matte finish it has, I don't know of any way to fix that.

This might help? Although I'd probably wait until you have a few more inevitable scratches before you try this...

Seems that there's an anti-glare coating that most nav screens in cars have these days which is easily scratchable.

When I was selling cars I used to tell people as I was delivering it " when you get home get a key and scratch the underside a little where it won't show or hurt anything. That way the first scratch is out of the way and the rest won't feel so bad"
Was a little joke that always made the customer laugh.
