My current R56 S has the OEM driving lights. While I originally got them because I like the look I find them to be very useful. I live in a fairly rural area so the extra light at night to see deer or whatever further up is very helpful.
Last go round I ordered the lights from outmotoring and had a local shop install them which saved me about $300. I don't see that the Gen3 lights are available anywhere yet so I'm guessing I would go with Hella or something like that.
Would love to see pics or hear if others have done the driving lights.

Hey! Check out shopminiusa.com and put in your current MINI that you are shopping for. If you notice they have the driving lights listed, BUT be sure to select the right trim (chrome or black) plus notice that they have the regular ones and it appears that they have LED ones now for the third gen (i guess so everything matches :P). Hope that helps!

 

I purchased OEM driving lights for my F56 from Outmotoring . Had the dealership install them. Long story. BUT at that time, you had to order them specific to Minis equipped with the LED headlights but we're not LED themselves. At that time Mini had not released theLED version.
