Hey guys,
As I await my F56 to get on the cruz ship. I came across this image of a black MCS with the red stripes. To me the stripes look too high up on the side or is this just me? Seems they should be lower to the bottom...?? I have photo shopped a few different colors as well as I lowered the stripes and played with a few two tones. I have ordered the black but Im thinking of holding off as my dealer has to but them on as they are apart of the dealer accessory. I got to playing around with the colors as I think I can have these made outside the dealer and pick any color I want. What color do you guys think works the best? Im liking the grey and maybe the white? The red is questionable ??? or without the stripe?
Take a look
Ps I just darkened the wheels as my wheels are all black and I also blacked all the chrome out as well to get the full effect...
Thanks!

I've seen an electric blue with the white side stripes that were done at a place that does custom stripes. The owner showed them the design for the MINI side stripes and said, "I want those in white". They looked exactly like the MINI side stripes, just white. His had a white roof though... Not sure how I feel about white side stripes with a black roof.
Well the more I look at it I think Black is the only thing that looks good with the black roof I do like the white but your right sorta looks not right with black roof. I am going to send this image to my MA and tell her to make sure they lower the stripes as to me they look too high to the original placement specs.
ok black it is but do you all agree that the red stripes on the the black F56 look too high up on the door? I lowered the black stripes as I personally think it looks more meaty lowered a little...??
Im going to take the wheels and tires off and replace with new set of no run flats as i have been reading that the ride is almost 40% better.... and Ive started looking for some all black wheels so they will be up for grabs soon!
photo shop if you have a side profile shot email it to me ill put them on for u
Actually I'm looking at creating bonnet stripes. Had my white silver F55 for 1 month now. Bought JCW Pro mirror caps, but waiting for it to get warmer to install. Thinking of bonnet stripes in combo black and chili red.

Cool...thanks. I haven't decided on the offset bonnet or sport style yet, but I'll mess around with photoshop. The stripes will either be pinstriped with the opposing color, or a combo wide stripe with an offset narrower opposing one. Once decided and done, I'll post pics.
Like the black and grey - but think three stripes might be a bit much. Two stripes might be worth looking at if you are keeping them thick - otherwise you may have the Kia Soul effect
Black will look good...we have VO with black roof and black JCW stripes (awesome). Keep in mind that as you lower them the distance between the stripe and the rear wheel trim will get smaller very quickly.

+1 The Black one with red stripes (nice design!).
And yes, the stripes looks too high up. They should be lower to the bottom.
But don't forget it will be YOUR car and it is YOUR decision. Enjoy your F56!
Mine is going to be blue with a white roof and black bonnet / side stripes. I think the black stripes can look good with a white roof because the sunroof and trim is black so the black matches other black parts of the car, but the black roof doesn't look good with white stripes because there is no other white part.
Black looks great. I do agree that lowering it a bit is the way to go. Just make sure the top stripe isn't too close to the point it's touching the wheel well arch. It should somewhat follow the arch body line for flow, in my opinion.
