so i saw in a video that the center led ring should pulsate red like the toggle to start the engine when you press on the brake, but my led ring will not do that, and i cant seem to find a way to configure it so that it does, is this normal?

 

Check SETTINGS --> CENTER INSTRUMENT --> EVENT DISPLAY and make sure "Heartbeat" is checked

 

As far as I can tell, Heartbeat only goes for a few minutes right after you lock the car. I don't recall ever seeing the central ring pulse when I'm about to start the car. Probably just some clever marketing.

 

yeah maybe, because i did just check and the heartbeat is checked, mine also does it only when i lock the car, but i did see it on a video so .. :/ i fell for the clever marketing i guess :(

 

It bugs me when companies do that. If that's such a cool feature that you want to include it in your advertising, then give it to us! Otherwise, keep it out.
