Hey, Siri....Where'd you go???

Something has changed.. and I can't figure out what.

Here is my current setup: My F56 has telephone bluetooth, but no Mini connect or Nav. I stream music wirelessly from my phone using a bluetooth audio receiver that plugs into my Aux and USB ports. This tucks away nicely and I don't have to plug my phone directly into the Aux port with an annoying cord. My phone shows connected to both my Mini and the audio receiver. No issues playing music and taking phone calls. When a call comes through, the music mutes and the car rings. I press the phone button on the steering wheel and I hear a voice - just like it's supposed to.

So... here's my issue:
I have to turn off the mini's bluetooth connection in order for Siri/dictation to work. I press the home button and Siri comes on, but my voice is not picked up - it's like the microphone is off. No line waves when I speak - just the silent flat line. This bluetooth receiver/Mini setup is the EXACT same setup I had in my 2011 Countryman - and Siri worked flawlessly. I am confuzzled.

Works for me but I'm plugged in on USB only.

Same for me. Can't hear Siri, no feedback. Annoying.
