Has anyone seen/ordered them? I'm shopping for new bike racks and am curious if the new OEM rails are solid pieces or have the valley in the middle for use with Thule attachments.

I'm not sure if the roof rails option has started shipping yet, but it will be on my order so I want to get parts that'll work down the road.

My MA says they have already ordered 2015's with the roof rails but the actual crossbars are not in the system yet. The F56 I'm about to order will have rails and I'm hoping the crossbars will be available when it arrives and just snap on like they do with the Countryman.

 

These roof cross bars are very similar to all of the other MINI OEM Racks, they do have the valley in the middle.

Will these work with the roof rails that are currently an option on the 2015 F56?

 

Yes, you absolutely must have option code S386A "Roof Railing" in order to use these cross bars.

If you do not have option code S386A Roof Railings installed from the factory, they can be retrofit by your Dealership but the cost will easily approach $1000 after labor.
