Hi Folks,








I'm trying to decide the wheels for my new MINI silver white (base) F56 with black top/mirrors.
Do folks have any recommendations for 17" wheels?
I picked these two from tirerack, and open to suggestions.
Option 1: Black wheels

Option 2: Silver/grey wheels





Thoughts?

With Option 2, you'll look like you're driving a set of gaudy aftermarket wheels with a car attached. Option 1, on the other hand, is sporty, but refined.

Even I wouldn't take my opinion too seriously.

 

I think black is better to hide the brake dust.
For my Silver White I ordered the black 16" wheels from Mini.

 

I happen to like silver wheels, had em on my 2007, but I'm not loving those either. I've got factory black wheels now 17" and see virtually NO brake dust. Could be different brakes as well but I love not seeing filthy wheels between washes.

 

Black it is. I should get 'frequent washer' miles at the car wash. thanks guys.

 

I have white silver, black looks amazing on it. Matte or gloss though it depends on your plans for the scheme of the car.
