I am curious if anyone knows the size I should be looking at to replace the MT shift **** in the F56? I do not like the stock one at all, and this will be the first mod I will be doing, but I'd like to be able to see what my options are.

If I understand correctly from previous searches, the **** just pops off? Is there a threading in the **** itself where the plastic clip is screwed in or how does it work?

Just looking for a size and what sort of adapter I will need. 10x1.25, etc..

The shift **** was the first thing to go, on my car. The stock **** really does just pull right off, with a little effort. I replaced mine with a Whalen **** made out of a Snooker ball. The ball measures 2 1/16" in diameter and, in my opinion, fits and looks great. Not too big, not too small.
