When are we going to discuss the merits of this Configurator accessory? Found under Accessories|Wheels they're available in several colors and might complement or substitute for mirror caps, scuttle covers, etc. (My MA didn't seem to know what I was talking about).

If you first have to remove the wheels in order to pop out the OE caps, they might have to wait for tire replacement or balancing when the wheels are off anyway.

Have they been available for R56's? If so, same part numbers?

That I am aware of, they aren't difficult to replace, but I haven't used them myself. We have had others on the forum get them though. On the official website I linked to, its the same item for the R56, so I believe they are identical regardless of generation.

I'm not sure what you mean by a substitute for mirror caps and scuttle covers either... a complement, yes! Or on their own!
