I'm currently in the Phillipines and I did some car shopping today. Here are the prices:

All new MINI Cooper A/T - PHP 2,100,000 ($48,200)
All new MINI Cooper S A/T - PHP 2,600,000 ($59.700)

Are there any takers out there?

 

Wow! And to think, people are complaining about the small bump in price from the US spec '14-'15s

 

No wonder they make us sign a paper that says we can't bring it or sell it outside of the US for a year

 

That's a lot, but maybe that's true of other cars like Toyotas and Hondas too. Heck in Ireland sales tax is 23% on everything, so cars are expensive.
