Aside from tirerack, what are some other places to look for wheels for the F56? It's been a while since I've looked at wheels and I don't know what the big vendors are anymore. If it's against forum policy to post here, can you pm me the websites?

 

Thanks for this, I'm having a hard time finding much available. I assume the new bolt pattern and high offsets don't help. If I can find a decent gold or bronze colored wheel, it will change my color choice. I don't think I like any of the stock wheels enough to powdercoat them.

It would be nice if VMR's fit, but they all seem too wide.

 

I'm pushing to put some BMW stock wheels on the F56 here at the shop.

5x112 to 5x120 adapters?

 

That might work. The thinnest adapter you can get is 15mm as far as I know, so some of the BMW wheels that have conservative offsets (like et 44 on an 8" wide wheel) might fit. Judging from R99's pictures I suspect the sweet spot will be 18x8 et 30-35 for the fronts. Probably much more room in the back.

My absolute favorites were Type 162s and I almost bought a set right before we figured out that the F56 isn't 5x120.


They're 18x8 et 34. I'm still thinking about having my hubs dual drilled to BMW fitment.

 

We have Genuine MINI wheels here for the F56. Adding more each day.

Outmotoring has center caps that they say fits on F56 and all other black center caps. They are colored in red, green, orange and yellow. There are oem they say. Is this correct?

 

so when are we going to see some brake and suspension options on ECS? I'm sure y'all will be one of the first vendors offering these

 

I've just faced the same challenge, but was able to find what I needed at Tire Rack in the form of the Sparco Asiento Garo.

These are 16x7, 5x112, 48 ET, and the correct center cap diameter. A hair over 16 lbs too.

They are legal in G Street, which is the destiny of my F56.

However they are not gold...

randomquickness - H&R has spring out right now for the F56, that's one of the newest items out for suspension. We should see more aftermarket here soon. Buts that's what we have right now.
