I'm thinking about buying a Cooper S with the fewest equipment, which means Mini Radio Visual Boost 6.5 inches. Anybody knows if it is possible to replace that on a car audio shop with a regular double din aftermarket stereo such as the ones Kenwood, Alpine or Sony sell?

If anyone has any experience on that I'd appreciate it a lot!

 

I'm not sure on replacing... but I'm wondering why 'fewest equipment' means getting the visual boost rather than... not? You've got to specifically add that via the Media Package. There's one step under it with just the base radio
