Just got the call that it has been released to the carrier.. hopefully tomorrow

 

Released to carrier... is that the 'released to carrier and is headed to port of exit' or something else?

 

Released to trucking company to be delivered to the dealer from the port in NJ

Passport MINI in Alexandria

 

Congratulations! I ordered on 5/31 and will finish production on 6/14. I hope to receive my car fast. On the other hand, I am still 10 grands short and don't want to finance so Mini can take their time while I am waiting for my pay checks

 

I'm a NoVA new MINI owner as well. Ordered from Mini of Alexandria, so far, have had my MINI since April 12, have had a great experience with them. Loving my first MINI as well!

MINI of Alexandria as well, roughly 5 weeks end of March to May 2nd. At least three of us here from NoVA. First MINI also, still a joy to drive.

Heck I'd take delivery it's not THAT bad. What did they do, jump up and down on it? You are not the first person to have a damaged car delivered to a dealership. Any idea what they are going to do with that car now?

You mean a 2015. Before they would quit taking orders for this years' cars around the end of July anticipating fall delivery for the next year model.

 

Oh man, that sucks big time! Sorry to hear that. So V2 will be a 2015 with the mandatory rear camera/pdc with NAV XL? Is it worth the extra $$ not to have the dealer repair this one and offer some compen$ation to take it??

 

Nope ordered a 2014 .. the dealer had the alotment so we placed the order.. be here Mid-July
