F55/F56 rear moon roof ?
The double tilt of my R56's sunroof looks cool when I take photos of my car, but I have to be honest I basically never use that feature. Whenever I remember to use it, I tilt both and then after about 1 min I open the main sunroof because I don't feel anything.
I personally won't miss this feature in the F56.
Just to confirm, does the F56 have a one touch sunroof open?
(As opposed to having to hold down the button e entire time to open on my R56...argh hate that)

I had the dual tilt on our 2011 R56's and was very disappointed to find the rear sunroof wasn't functional on our R61 since the sunroof cassette is designed for the rear tilt function with the parts removed. It's was a very nice feature, invented the car really well and cut the turbulence way down with the windows open.

It's more like two touch. I was playing with mine earlier and pressing it once tilts it. Pressing it again opens it all the way.
Ugh, Why? I don't get why they change all these things we are happy with, but then don't change things that seem obvious for a change. I don't get the mesh at all...
You need the mesh to block out more of the sun if you need to. Without the mesh the sunlight coming in would be a bit too much at times.
Since it was a double sunroof I thought this was a tilt only style. When it opens does it slide toward the rear and over the rear section?
It's the one major gripe I have with the R56. #firstworldproblems
No, I mean why mesh over solid covers like most cars have. So they block ALL the light out if you wanted.
